We have finally "let the CAT out of the bag"! The CAT is our new Cartridge Alignment Tool. Sometimes, if not always, the simplest solution to a problem is the best solution.

Our new Roger Leaming designed CAT is the simplest solution to an all too often problem for the precision handloader/shooter.

Used with our NECO, or any other, run-out gauge, the CAT can easily remove run-out from a loaded cartridge.

Simply find the point of greatest runout with the gauge and insert the cartridge neck in the appropriate reamed hole in the CAT. Place greatest run-out at the 12 o'clock position.

Push down with a little pressure on the cartridge.

Re-check for run-out.

Usually run-out is eliminated with one or two of these tweaks.
