NECO Moly Plating Kits

The "ORIGINAL" kit for Moly plating bullets. This is the kit NECO developed years ago for processing up to 30,000 bullets. Included all the necessary components to get the Moly plating job done right. Hardened steel balls to impact plate the bullets. Laboratory grade ultra-fine Moly disulfide. Laboratory grade ultra-fine Carnauba wax for coating. Corn cob polishing media. Instruction manual. Sample bullet. The "MILLENNIUM" kit has all the same quality components as the "ORIGINAL" but in smaller quantities so it only can plate 15,000 to 20,000 bullets.

Why Moly Coat Bullets: Less Fouling & Friction

A molybdenum-disulfide coating lowers the friction between bullet and bore, which can cut copper fouling and help extend the accurate life of a barrel. Moly coating pairs well after a bore has been smoothed by fire lapping.

The NECO Moly Plating Process

NECO moly plating kits include everything needed to bond a moly layer to the bullet surface, and refill components let you keep coating batch after batch - a burnishing process that builds the coating mechanically.

The Viking Rotary Tumbler

The Viking rotary tumbler is the workhorse of the NECO coating setup and a capable rotary tumbler in its own right. For a dry film lubricant on other surfaces, see MOLY-SLIDE dry moly lubricant.
